GSB-88 Airports
Applications History
GSB Treated Airfields
as of January 2008
GSB-88 has been
successfully used on over 160
airports across the country. Over
half of these airports are repeat
customers with multiple projects
completed over the past 14 years. In
that 14 year period ASI has
successfully completed more than 150
runway projects of all types using
GSB-88. To date we have treated more
than 24 million Square Yards of
airfield pavements from Alaska to
Florida.
These treatments have
been used on all types of pavement
surfaces, including grooved runways,
PFC runways, slurry sealed surfaces,
and many other dense graded asphalt
mixes. These treatments have exposed
GSB-88 to all types of aircraft,
from light General Aviation to heavy
commercial and civilian freight
aircraft, as well as all types of
heavy and high performance military
aircraft. GSB has successfully
performed under the most extreme
climate conditions.

2007 GSB Project Totals and
Summary |
38 projects were
completed on airfields in 2007,
including 6 projects for the DOD. The
total square yards completed in 2007
were in excess of 4.2 million.
Some projects of interest for the 2007
construction season are: Grooved Runways
at Portland International Airport (PDX)
and Steamboat Springs. We completed 3
more Porous Friction Course Runways this
year at International Falls, MN, Pueblo,
CO, and Moab, UT. We also did another
runway at Fallon Naval Air station, as
well as the runway overruns at Tyndall
Air Force Base in Panama City, FL.
